Pilates

Pilates is a low-impact movement system built around controlled breath, core engagement and precise alignment. Practiced on a mat or specialised reformer, it builds long, balanced strength and improves posture, mobility and body awareness. Sessions are typically 45–60 minutes and suit nearly every body and fitness level.

Who pilates is for

  • Office workers and creatives dealing with stiffness or back pain
  • Athletes rebuilding control after injury or wanting better movement quality
  • Anyone seeking strength without high impact — pre/post-natal, 50+, or returning to exercise

What to expect

  • A short standing or breathing warm-up followed by a flowing sequence on mat or reformer
  • Cues focused on alignment, breath and slow control rather than reps and load
  • Noticeable core engagement, improved posture and reduced joint pain within 6–10 sessions
